Frequently Asked Questions
- Is this tool really free?
- Yes, all our PDF tools are completely free to use with no hidden costs, subscriptions, or per-file charges. We support the service through non-intrusive advertising, not by charging for basic document operations. You can use any tool as many times as you like, with no daily limits, file size restrictions, or account requirements whatsoever.
- Are my files secure?
- Absolutely. All PDF processing happens directly in your browser using local JavaScript and WebAssembly libraries. Your files are never uploaded to any server, never stored in the cloud, and never transmitted over the internet. The files remain entirely on your device from start to finish, giving you complete control over your sensitive and confidential documents.
- Do I need to create an account?
- No registration or account is required to use any of our tools. Simply navigate to the tool you need, upload your file, configure any options, and download the result. There are no sign-in walls, email verification steps, or profile setup processes. We designed these tools to be immediately accessible without any friction or onboarding.
- What browsers are supported?
- Our tools work on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Brave on both desktop and mobile devices. JavaScript must be enabled for the tools to function. For best performance with large files, we recommend using a recent version of Chrome or Firefox on a desktop computer with adequate memory available.
- Can I duplicate pages?
- Yes, you can duplicate any page in your document. The duplicated page is inserted immediately after the original by default, but you can drag it to any other position in the document. This is useful for creating templates, repeating standard pages like cover sheets within a document, or building documents that reuse common page layouts.
- Can I delete multiple pages at once?
- Yes, click on multiple page thumbnails to select them all, then delete the selection in one operation. You can also select a range of consecutive pages by clicking the first page and shift-clicking the last. This batch deletion capability saves time when removing multiple unwanted pages without having to delete them one by one.
- How do I reorder pages in the organizer?
- Drag any page thumbnail to a new position in the grid to reorder it. A visual indicator shows where the page will be dropped before you release. You can move pages individually or select multiple pages and move the entire selection together. The page order updates immediately in the thumbnail view, so you can see the new arrangement before saving.
- Does the organizer work with large PDFs?
- Yes, but very large PDFs with hundreds of pages may take longer to load the thumbnail preview. For best performance, allow the page thumbnails to fully render before dragging and dropping. If the PDF has many high-resolution pages, the thumbnail generation may use significant browser memory. For very large documents, consider splitting first and organizing the sections separately.
- Can I undo changes in the page organizer?
- The page organizer operates on a working copy of your document β the original file is never modified. If you want to undo changes, you can simply close the browser tab and re-upload the original file to start fresh. Once you are satisfied with the page arrangement, click Save to generate and download the final reorganized PDF.
